MSP CUP Data Science Challenge 2024
Rules
- The event will be held at PDEU, Gandhinagar.
- Participants from any institute in the R-10 Region, including those in UG, PG, and PhD programs, are eligible to compete.
- Teams can consist of up to 5 participants and 1 mentor.
- Each team can include a maximum of either 2 PG participants or 1 PhD participant, with the remaining members being UG participants. Teams cannot have both 2 PG students and 1 PhD participant. It must be either 2 PG students and the rest UG participants, or 1 PhD participant and the rest UG participants.
- Problem statements and data sets are provided on http://ieeespsgs.org/mspcup/.
- Full code, along with a 5-minute video clip, should be submitted by [Date] using the provided form.

- Deadline for the submission is 10th September 2024
- The final round and winners’ declaration will be held on 28th September. Qualified teams will be required to present their work to the adjudicating team (further details will be provided later).
- Boarding facilities will be provided upon request for 27th September, exclusively for outstation participants based on a payable basis.
- Participating teams are responsible for covering their travel expenses.
Guidelines for 5-Minute Video
- The work must be original and unique.
- Plagiarism exceeding 30% in the code, information, or work may result in team disqualification and possible disciplinary actions.
- The video should clearly explain the work, including the associated code and results.
- Clearly state the problem being addressed and the corresponding dataset used.
- The video should be in .mp4 format.
- The time limit must be strictly observed.
- The video file size should not exceed 400 MB (SD resolution).
