The Signal Processing Society is a dynamic organization that is the preeminent source of signal processing information and resources to a global community. We do this by: being a one-stop source of signal processing resources; providing a variety of high quality resources to a variety of users in formats customized to their interests; adapting to a rapidly changing technical community; and being intimately involved in the education of signal processing professionals at all levels.
About WISP
Women in Signal Processing (WiSP) offers networking and engagement opportunities to and for women across signal processing disciplines and professions to exchange ideas and experience from research, industry, and academia. WiSP seeks to develop programs and materials to foster collaboration among members and facilitate female member recruiting, services, and visibility in STEM fields.
About WoLT
The IEEE Gujarat Section Signal Processing Society Chapter’s Women in Signal Processing (WiSP) group in collaboration with IEEE SPS Students Branches viz. IEEE SPS CKPCET Student Branch Chapter, IEEE SPS MU Student Branch Chapter, IEEE SPS SCET Student Branch Chapter and IEEE SPS GCET Student Branch Chapter are pleased to announce an International IEEE SPS Forum (virtually) called Women Leading Technology (WoLT 2.0) during 6-7 October 2023.The objective of the event is to provide a global stage for visionary women entrepreneurs, researchers, and academicians to understand and share their experiences. The Day-1 is completely devoted to successful women entrepreneurs panel discussion, Pitch-a-Thon and expert talk and the Day-2 is scheduled with two technical talks of state-of-the-art development in the area of cyber security and entrepreneurship.
At WoLT 2.0, we have:
- Expert Talks: Gain insights from experts in entrepreneurship and cyber security.
- Women of Wonders – Meet Up: Connect with inspiring women who have made significant contributions to technology.
- Pitch-A-Thon: Witness innovative ideas and solutions presented by engineering enthusiasts and innovators.
An insightful panel discussion on ‘Women of Wonder’ is planned on Day-1 where three women entrepreneurs will be invited from different walks of life and age groups (early 30s, late 30s and late 40s) and they will share their views about accomplishments, passion, struggle for victory, focus on goal, perseverance, lessons of life, social responsibility – anything and everything. PITCH-A-THON is one of the exciting highlights of the IEEE SPS Forum on WoLT 2.0(Women Leading Technology). It is a platform where engineering enthusiasts and innovators come together to showcase their groundbreaking ideas and solutions for building a resilient future. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their projects, present their engineering solutions, and compete for a chance to win the prestigious title and a grand prize of Rs. 10,000.
