IGNITE Poster Presentation Competition – Instructions for Participants

📌 General Guidelines

  1. Eligibility: Open to authors of selected papers from Track 5, Track 6, and Track 7 of AISTS 2025.
  2. Poster Size: A1 (594 mm × 841 mm / 23.4 in × 33.1 in / 1.95 ft × 2.76 ft).
  3. Submission: Soft copy (PDF) must be uploaded during conference registration.

🧠 Poster Content & Design

  1. Title: Concise and topic-specific.
  2. Sections:
    • Introduction
    • Problem Statement / Research Gap
    • Objectives
    • Methodology / Approach
    • Results / Findings
    • Conclusion and Future Work
    • References (if any)
  3. Design Tips:
    • Use bullet points over paragraphs.
    • Ensure clarity, contrast, and readability.
    • Include high-resolution visuals (charts, graphs, images).
    • Recommended font sizes:
      • Title: ≥ 72 pt
      • Headings: 36–48 pt
      • Text: 24–30 pt
  4. Layout Balance:
    • Text: 20%
    • Graphics: 40%
    • Whitespace: 40%
  5. Avoid:
    • ALL CAPS in titles or text blocks
    • Raw data tables—use visual representations instead
    • Low-resolution images
    • Posters that are handwritten, typewritten, or direct PowerPoint™ printouts (will be rejected)

🎨 Template & Consistency

📛 Certificate Policy

  • Only registered presenters will receive a certificate.
  • Co-authors must register individually to be eligible.
  • No exceptions.

👤 Author Responsibility

  • The poster must be designed by the presenting author, even for collaborative work.
  • Acknowledge co-authors/advisors in the poster, but the design must be original.

🏆 Evaluation & Presentation

  • Time Limit:
    • 10 minutes for presentation
    • 2 minutes for Q&A
    • Total: 12 minutes (strictly monitored)
  • Judging: Posters will be evaluated by disciplinary divisions.
  • Winning entries may be showcased in special exhibitions.

⏱️ Attendance Rules

  • Presenter must remain present during judging.
  • Notify the proctor in case of emergency absence.
  • Leaving early without permission may result in disqualification, even post-evaluation.

📄 Optional: Supplementary Materials

  • You may bring handouts to support your poster explanation.
